• Jonesboro Public School's Technology Department provides field support, data center operations, along with installation of desktops, laptops, tablets, projectors, interactive displays, servers, storage, switches, phones, security cameras and other technology hardware.  The technology department is also responsible for installing and configuring both wired and wireless networks, as well as supporting the technology used by all staff and students.

    Technology infrastructure and interactive learning opportunities are both key initiatives within JPS. Jonesboro Public Schools is committed to providing opportunities for teachers and students to interact with the global community through use of technology tools such as online learning and social media. Our goal is to provide timely, professional support and to help make the use of technology a seamless experience for all involved.

    Currently we support over 7000 computers, 3000 tablets, and several hundred printers, switches and multimedia devices. (Interactive whiteboards, interactive displays, TVs, projectors, document cameras, audio systems, etc.)
