Because of this, our district has won the Occasions Magazine Readers' Choice, "Best Public School District" award for 12 years in a row. We also received numerous 2023 Readers' Choice awards from the NEA Kids' Directory: Best Public School District (7th year in a row) and Best Pre-K Program. This year we also won the Jonesboro Premiere Magazine Best School District!

Our school district is comprised of the two Jonesboro Pre-K Centers, Jonesboro Kindergarten Center, five Magnet elementaries, two junior highs and The Academies at Jonesboro High School.
