JKC Hosts Nursery Rhyme Olympics

Students at JKC celebrated completing their nursery rhymes unit by hosting the Nursery Rhyme Olympics on the playground. Students competed in events like jumping over candlesticks, the Mother Goose waddle, Spider Crawls and egg races. They also celebrated with nursery rhyme themd snacks.

Nursery rhymes have been proven to help students learn to read by developing easy recall and memorization. They also aid in language aquisition and speech development.
